About this entry

MARCH 2014

I went tiger fishing on the Jozini dam in KwaZulu-Natal, where my friend Paul hooked a hippo by mistake (see my SA Tourism blog http://www.southafrica.net/blog/en/posts/entry/houseboat-on-the-jozini-dam#.UfIubFON4Zg).

I then spent a few days in the Pilanesberg National park, adjacent to Sun City (http://www.southafrica.net/blog/en/blog/en/posts/entry/high-summer-in-the-pilanesberg-north-west-province);

Who goes there?

had a lightning trip to Clarens in the Eastern Free State; and a road trip into the Klein Karoo from George to Outdsthoorn (http://www.southafrica.net/blog/en/posts/entry/klein-karoo-ostrich-palaces-mountain-passes-and-quaint-villages); and then along the Cape’s famous Garden Route.

South Africa is a land of dazzling contrasts – beaches, bush, mountains and so much more.

I’m posting some photos from the trips so you can see for yourself.
